24th & 25th of June, 2024
On June 24-25, 2024, the BEiNG-WISE community convened at the University Ss Cyril and Methodius in Skopje for a pivotal Management Committee and Working Group Meeting. This gathering brought together experts from diverse fields—including social psychology, sociology, education, software engineering, computer science, and cybersecurity—to advance our collective understanding of behavioral aspects in next-generation wireless networks.
The two-day event featured comprehensive updates from our Working Groups (WGs):
- WG1: Explored advancements in wireless communication technologies and their security implications.
- WG2: Discussed integration strategies for secure wireless systems.
- WG3: Addressed data management and privacy concerns.
- WG4: Examined human factors influencing cybersecurity.
- WG5: Delved into legal and ethical considerations in wireless network security.
These sessions facilitated in-depth discussions, fostering a multidisciplinary approach to the challenges and opportunities in our field.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Action Chair, Dr. Valeria Loscrì, for her visionary leadership, and to our gracious hosts, Dr. Vesna Dimitrova and Dr. Ivan Chorbev, for their exceptional organization and warm hospitality. Special thanks to all presenters and participants whose contributions were instrumental in the success of this meeting.
