On January 15–16, 2025, the BEiNG-WISE community gathered at University College Dublin for a key Management Committee and Working Group Meeting. This hybrid event brought together experts from across Europe and beyond—including computer scientists, engineers, legal scholars, social scientists, and cybersecurity practitioners—to advance our mission of fostering human-centric, secure next-generation wireless networks.

Over two days, participants engaged in interactive sessions and received comprehensive updates from each Working Group:

• WG1: Focused on trust, reliability, and white paper advancements in wireless communications.
• WG2: Examined cybercrime challenges and integration strategies for secure wireless systems.
• WG3: Presented new approaches to anomaly detection, data management, and privacy in wireless networks.
• WG4: Explored human factors, ethics, and the social dimensions of cybersecurity.
• Joint WG5 & WG1 Workshop: Delved into “Legality by Design” for 6G, discussing legal, ethical, and technological perspectives, with lively roundtables and discussions.

The meeting featured a keynote from Dr. Asreen Rostami on gender bias in cybersecurity solutions, as well as contributions on topics such as trustworthy AI, standardization activities, project management, and dissemination strategies. Special sessions also highlighted grant-funded research and future opportunities for collaboration across the BEiNG-WISE network.

We extend our sincere thanks to our Action Chair, Dr. Valeria Loscrì, for her visionary leadership, and to our host, Dr. Madhusanka Lyanage and the UCD team, for their excellent organization and hospitality. Special appreciation goes to all presenters and participants whose insights and energy made this meeting a success.

The ideas and connections forged in Dublin will guide our collaborative research and activities in the coming months. We look forward to building on this momentum and seeing everyone at future BEiNG-WISE events.
